Youth Protection Training
Youth Protection Guidelines (YPT) is designed to help keep youth safe from abuse. During YPT, participants learn the Boy Scouts of America’s youth protection guidelines, signs of abuse, and how to report suspected abuse. All volunteers must take YPT must be taken every two years. YPT can be taken online at www.my.scouting.org.
BSA Registration
Volunteers must be registered with the Boy Scouts of America. Volunteers can fill out an adult membership application available at the Cockrell Scout Center (2225 N Loop W, Houston, Texas 77008) or one of the Houston area Scout shops, or can be completed online at <insert link to online membership application>.
If you are currently a registered BSA member, please list your ID number. BSA ID numbers can be found on the BSA membership card or by logging on to www.my.scouting.org and clicking on My Profile.
